The Kittens

With nine lives & over three decades of making music, The Hyperdrive Kittens are BACK with more sass, distortion & playfulness than ever. Glitter Punk's on the menu and there's fire in the hole as the Kittens release a brand new single "Rocky Road" in December, followed by their new EP The Meow Factor out February 10, 2023. Described in the 90's as charming deviates, "rock that recalls both the Ramones and the Ronettes, and the lovely high harmonies - backed by grungy guitars and bitchin' 2 and 4 rim shots that would make even Phil Spector a little green with envy" (Billy Lavay).

With the release of The Meow Factor EP, The Hyperdrive Kittens takes a new approach to some classic genres to create something all their own. Laced with character, an edgy and colorful undertone, and plenty of hooks, the record boasts the aesthetic of alternative pop rock anthems. The first single "Rocky Road is an explosive example of the band's style and attitude.
